Joining GiveOrLose is free and easy. Simply click the "Join Now" button, fill out
the registration form with your email address, choose a username and password, and
verify your email address. Once verified, you can start contributing and accessing
content immediately.
GiveOrLose is a unique knowledge-sharing platform where access to content is tied to
your contributions. Unlike traditional platforms where most users only consume content,
we encourage active participation by requiring members to contribute valuable content
to maintain their access to the platform.
Contribution System
- Click the "New Contribution" button in the navigation bar
- Choose the type of contribution (article, resource, insight, or tip)
- Write your content using our rich text editor
- Add any relevant files or images
- Submit for review
You can contribute:
- Articles: In-depth explorations of topics
- Resources: Useful tools, libraries, or references
- Insights: Personal experiences and observations
- Tips: Quick, actionable advice
Points & Access
Points are awarded based on the type and quality of your contributions:
- Articles: 50-100 points
- Resources: 30-60 points
- Insights: 20-40 points
- Tips: 10-20 points
- Bronze: Basic access (0 points)
- Silver: Intermediate access (100+ points)
- Gold: Advanced access (500+ points)
- Platinum: Full access (1000+ points)
Account Settings
To change your password:
- Go to your Profile Settings
- Click on the "Security" tab
- Enter your current password
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click "Update Password"
Yes, you can delete your account at any time:
- Go to Profile Settings
- Scroll to the bottom
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
